Tours and visits
How do I tour an apartment and check out the community?
We’d love to show you around! For in-person tours, you can book one directly on the website, or contact our leasing office to schedule a tour. Please bring your ID to the tour.

Application and Leasing
How do I apply for an apartment?
Once you have found your desired floorplan on our website, you can submit an application via our online portal. Or just give the leasing office a call, they are happy to answer any questions you may have.
What documents do I need to provide for the application process?
To start your application, you'll need to provide a valid ID and proof of income. These documents help us verify your eligibility and ensure a smooth leasing process.
What are the income requirements to qualify for an apartment?
To qualify, your income should be at least three times the rent amount, and a credit score of 650 or higher is required. If your income or credit score falls short, you may still be approved with additional conditions.
What is the lease term for the apartments?
We offer 12 month lease terms at The Union at Grand Junction.
Can I sublease my apartment?
No. We do not allow subleasing.
Is renter's insurance required?
Yes, renter's insurance is required to protect your belongings and provide peace of mind. Each applicant must be on the insurance policy. For more information, please contact our leasing team.
How do I renew my lease?
Our team will send you a notice for renewal 90 days before your lease expiration. To renew your lease, please send us an email indicating your desire to renew at least 60 days before your lease ends, and we will provide you with an updated lease agreement. We would be sad to see you go but if you do not wish to renew your lease, we will provide you with move-out instructions, your final move-out date, and your final balance owed.
Does The Union at Grand Junction offer affordable housing options?
The Union at Grand Junction is a market-rate community. We do not accept housing vouchers. Income requirements are a minimum of 3x the monthly rent.
Move-In and Move-Out Support
Are there move-in or application fees?
Yes, an application fee is required to apply for an apartment. The application fee is $50 per person 18 or older and their is also an administrative fee of $150 due at the time of application. Please contact the leasing office for move-in promotions.
Are there services to help with the move-in process?
The Union at Grand Junction provides access to elevators to assist with your move. The leasing office also has some moving dollies available for check-out. Please coordinate with the leasing office to schedule your move-in.
Are there any restrictions on decorating or modifying the apartment?
You're welcome to decorate your apartment to make it feel like home! However, if you wish to make any modifications, please seek approval first. You are responsible for any damages which will be deducted from your security deposit.
What happens if I need to break my lease?
If you need to break your lease, please contact the leasing office. They will guide you through the available options, which may include early termination fees and other conditions based on your specific situation.
How much notice is required before moving out?
The leasing team will contact you 90 days before your lease is almost up. A 60 days' notice is required before moving out. Be sure to submit your notice in writing to the leasing office.
What is the process for moving out?
When you're ready to move out, please return your keys to the leasing office during office hours so we can process your move-out on the same day. We cannot complete your move-out until we have received the keys. Once you are out of the unit, the team will inspect the unit and determine any damages and repairs required.
How long does it typically take to receive the security deposit refund?
A refund will be issued within 45 days of moving out in the form of a check.
Fees and Payments
How much is the security deposit, and when is it due?
The security deposit starts at $200 and can increase up to one month's rent based on credit and screening. It is due prior to receiving keys on your move in date.
Are utilities included in the rent?
Utilities are not included in the rent and are billed separately, allowing you to manage your usage and expenses independently. Residents need to set up their utilities prior to moving in.
Which Wi-Fi providers can I use?
Haywire internet is pre-wired in each home for your Wi-Fi services. There are 2 speed options to choose from, and your monthly billing will depend on your selected package.
How can I pay my rent?
You can pay your rent conveniently through BILT in our resident portal. We accept online payments via credit card, debit card, or bank transfer. For more details, contact the leasing office.
Are there EV Charging stations?
Yes, we will have fast-charging ChargePoint stations available.
Maintenance and Requests
How do I submit maintenance requests?
Maintenance requests can be submitted through our RentCafe Resident Services portal or our Willow Bridge Resident app at any time. For urgent issues, please call our emergency maintenance team at 317-708-9900, available 24/7 to ensure timely assistance.
How quickly are maintenance issues addressed?
Non-emergency maintenance requests are typically addressed within 1-2 business days. Emergency issues, such as water leaks or electrical problems, receive immediate attention.
Pets
Do you allow pets in the apartments?
Yes, we are a pet-friendly community, allowing both cats and dogs, with no breed restrictions! The Union at Grand Junction welcomes up to 2 pets per home.
Is there a pet deposit or a monthly pet fee?
Yes, there is a required nonrefundable pet fee along with a monthly pet fee. One-time nonrefundable pet fee is $300 per per and pet rent is $30/mo per pet.
What is the pet policy for specific breeds or sizes?
There are NO breed or weight restrictions at The Union at Grand Junction!
What onsite amenities do you offer to accommodate pets?
Our courtyard is pet-friendly, so feel free to bring your furry friends along while you relax at the grill station, enjoy the outdoor tables, or play a game of cornhole! We are also located directly across from Grand Junction Plaza, which has many great paths to walk. Check out our full amenity offering here.

What amenities are available in the complex?
The Union at Grand Junction offers various community amenities, including a two-story resident lounge with a conference room, co-working space, and gather spaces. Our elevated pool overlooks the Grand Junction Plaza, so you’ll have views of local entertainment while enjoying the sundeck, gas fire pits, and grills. Our state-of-the-art fitness center includes free weights and group exercise space.
Are there laundry facilities in the complex?
Yes, all apartments are equipped with an in-unit washer and dryer for your convenience.
Is there bike storage available on the property?
Yes, The Union at Grand Junction offers bike storage onsite, located in the garage. We are located near the cross-section of Monon Trail and Midland Trace Trail in Downtown Westfield. Check out the Hamilton County Bike Map, which shows all the bike trails near us!
Do the apartments have high-speed internet access?
All apartments are pre-wired for high-speed internet access through Haywire. To get started, residents simply need to scan the QR code found on the modem, which is mounted on the living room wall. We happily provide high-speed WiFi in the common areas free of charge.
How does package delivery work?
Package deliveries are accepted at The Union at Grand Junction in our Automated Package Room in our secured mail and package room located on Level 3. You can collect your packages 24/7 from the designated package room..
What floor plans are available at The Union?
